I work with kiddos who are wanting to be included by their peers, but that also might feel too different to connect. I am here to support their knowing & empowerment towards new experiences that create connection, spark confidence and initiate change through feeling and overcoming rejection.

I believe in allowing all feeling based experiences to process. I believe that what we are avoiding is actually where our work is leading us to! Too often, we are focusing on getting rid of or stopping our body from having an authentic relationship or response to our emotional experience. Most of the time we do not want to feel the distress or pain because it is not preferred. Instead, we distract or deflect. These are outdated strategies & patterns that keep us stuck. Contrary to popular belief, allowing the discomfort that comes from an intolerable emotional state actually creates space for it to be felt and then subside. We get to feel it to heal it. We get to name it to tame it. We used to think it would go away if we ignored it. What we know now is that we can handle more, face loss, fear of rejection with empowerment, so that when the events are greater, we will have the skills, tools, and practice to be able to handle what feels most intolerable. Together we can do hard things!

I believe that everyone is capable in reaching their full potential and step closer to their life purpose! I think that families seek therapy to expose shadows and shed layers of old patterns that are no longer useful. We parent the way we were parented, so to have compassion and understanding is the first step to trying something different. I believe in the power of shifting perception, practicing something new and being mindful about self-empowerment and self-accountability. Everyone is welcome here.
