I offer an integrative form of emotional wellbeing practice that treats the body and emotions as one connected functional unit. The specific school of mind/body practice that I have studied is called Core Energetics. This approach involves a combination of talking, expression (which, if circumstances permit, may include yelling and hitting a cushion), and body movement.

It is experientially oriented: through movement and expression, emotional issues touched on in conversation take on new dimensions, and find new means of resolution. Every proposed exercise is designed to deepen your own process, and your own self-understanding.

By incorporating the body, it is also possible that some non-verbal issues may be addressed in ways that are different from talking alone.

Beyond the body, Core Energetics also places an emphasis on connecting with a sense of deeper meaning in life. In our journey together, we will seek to penetrate beneath the layers that obscure your own natural highest qualities. The ultimate aim is to help you, over time, to become more connected, more grounded, more stable, more authentic, and more alive.

My educational background includes formal training in Core Energetics, counseling, massage, yoga, music, computer programming, and Western esoteric traditions. I am also a well-seasoned traveler in my own self-development journey.
